Delta Dental Mobile App Reviews

The App has serious user issues with login and password for App access. I would recommend just using delta dental.com until they put some thought and money into the App. Overall useless.

This app has been on my iPhone probably for two years and at first it worked. Then it quit letting me sign in and never worked again... after calling customer service several times, the Rep said the app doesnt work on safari on an iPhone and I should try chrome or google... I explained this is an iPhone and not a desktop but the Rep said the app only works on Chrome... I told her she was on the wrong page but she didnt have a clue... Tech person at Delta Dental, Start Over Please! It was a good app when it worked...

This app barely functions. You are not able to see claims or benefits even though the buttons and tabs are there. Very few of the features in the app actually work. The loading animation is static making it look the the phone is constantly frozen. I tried to leave feedback though the app but even THAT was broken. I didnt expect much given their websites are atrocious.

Always an "internal error," no matter what function Im trying to proceed with. Delta Dental is paid plenty. There is no reason they shouldnt have a fully functioning and highly rated app. Get with it, Delta Dental.

I am a new subscriber to Delta Dental. Had no problems getting into website, however I am using the same credentials on App and it keeps giving me errors. Will NOT even let me sign in. Unacceptable service, with reported problems on upgraded App for over a month now.

Its a waste keep saying my password is incorrect when I used the same password to sign in on the computer... no good

Created my account on a desktop PC, and can log in there just fine, but the mobile app isnt letting me in at all. Tried calling for assistance and got pushed around to different phone numbers with no one being able to assist. Also tried their online contact form, but that had errors and wouldnt submit.

I am unable to login to this app using the same credentials that work on the website, just like everyone else here. Do not download this app unless you want to risk being locked out of your account.

Able to login account on Computer (mac). Unable to login using mobile app.

After reading the reviews I wasnt sure if I should try it but I figured I could delete the app if it didnt work. So far, so good. I was able to log in using my regular login, see all of my account info, including my dentist and most recent claims. The app allowed me to save a copy of my ID card to my phones home page and wallet, allowing me to have a digital copy without having to go online. While there may have been problems in the past, it appears that they have gotten the bugs worked out now, or at least they have when Ive used it.

I have also tried deleting and installing fresh from App Store and after installing, it still pops up to either Close or Upgrade Now. Infinite loop and am never able to log in because of the pop up.

So far the app looks useful. Except for one thing....need to be able to make premium payments on here. Too early to give more than 3 stars. Wont let me log in any more! Please fix these problems!! Keeps looping Rate App but then kicks you out of the app.

I need to get some claim info to send in to a dental savings account. Each time it says check back later and sometimes gives a time but when I wait that time their server is unavailable. Lame. Ask your HR department for a company that is responsive and not always having downtime.

This app does everything expected so far, but when I go to click add on the find a dentist tab, the app crashes every single time, please fix!!!

Looks nice, but needs work. I tried to get my dentist but it crashed immediately.

Still cant login. What a mess. I read they other reviews and thought, "meh, Im smart. Those peoples just dont know what theyre doing...." Lol Nope. Theyre right. Its a mess. Log in on the website with no issues. Fails on mobile app, now says Im locked out. Thought web access is still letting me in. Its amazing - the amount of money insurance companies make, and how little they spend on mobile apps. I picture some 65 year old fat cat CEO saying "Bah! Mobile shmobile!" Sigh. Thanks for making my life easy. I wouldnt even be here in the first place if you didnt send me the absolute cheapest ID cards that are rendered unreadable after 2 weeks in my wallet.

What u mean by not supported??? This is the newest iPhone on the market with the newest software and not supported??? You support the 1st gen iPhone instead???

02/10/2017 UPDATE: They now have a disclaimer indicating this app no longer supports dual login for our member company sites located in IN KY MI MN MO NC NM OH OK OR TN. If you are a subscriber with one of these member companies, you will need to register for a new account in order to use the secure portion of app. The app has been down for nearly a week now. It gives various errors. One of the errors states that they cannot connect with the dental plan association and or the member plan. For my employer, the association/member plan is Delta Dental of MO. So I called the number in my insurance card and the app. I was connected with a very curt, boarding on rude young lady who proceeded to advise me that they, Delta Dental are not the owner of the app nor the website deltadental.com. She further advised me that I would need to register with deltadentalmo.com if I wanted to see my benifits, view claims or submit HRA verification information. She then tells me I can call delta dental technical support at 603.574.6001. So I called that number only to be told that they could also not help me. I was offered the option of giving them my phone number and someone from the correct dept. would call me back at an unspecified date and time. NO THANK YOU! I DELETED THE APP INSTEAD! IT IS USELESS TO ME!

I wish they would add the ID numbers on your card on the app same way you see it in person!!

Delta Dental seems to be stuck in the 1990s. Get it together!!
